THE must have sandal for spring 2019 are the Granola sandals from Blowfish Malibu. This by far is the most lightweight comfortable sandal I own and they’re cute! They have so many color options, but the gold and pink had me at hello. Best part is their vegan! They are lightly padded, the straps are faux leather and the sole is faux cork. Perfect addition to my wardrobe!

When Blowfish Malibu contacted me to work with them, I was kinda familiar with the brand but never tried them. Definitely was sleeping! They don’t only make sandals, but offer sneakers and heels. Also they make shoes for kids. You can find their shoes at multiple retailers in the US (links below), but they are also available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK.

I love this company because they create quality shoes at an affordable price. The Granola retails at $34.99! Frugal Foxx approved! Although Blowfish Malibu stays on “trend”, the styles are still timeless pieces that you’ll be able to wear season after season. Definitely must have sandals for spring 2019!

One Thrifted Dress Styled Three Different Ways

Last winter I scored this military inspired button front dress from my local Goodwill. The dress has brown buttons down the front that compliments the army green (green is my favorite color if you haven’t noticed from my Instagram). I love the strap and button detail on the shoulder and huge pockets across the breast. Gives the dress a military vibe. The best part is I paid $6.00 for this dress at the Goodwill and have gotten so many different wears out of it. This dress is super cute on its own but my favorite way to wear it is with the buttons undone as a duster. View Post

Happy New Year!

No “new year, new me” post. More like “new year, same goals, new perspective, new focus”! It’s time-to-get-to-work Lala!

To be transparent, I didn’t meet all my goals in 2017. Mostly due to me being distracted by my personal life and my obsession with perfection. In spite of my personal struggles, I still made strides compared to 2016. I was more consistent than I was in 2016, I stepped outside of my comfort zone and met new people (I tend to be an introvert), and I learned that no one is perfect! I learned that people tend to connect more with what’s real. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
