Summer 2018 heat has been something serious. When Influencer was nice enough to send me Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturizer, primer, and highlighter complimentary to review I was excited! I’ve used Laura Mercier’s translucent powder, and their reputation did not disappoint. So I had very high expectations for these products. Below I will share a honest review of what I liked and disliked about each product. Lets get into it!
U N B O X I N G
- Foundation Primer (retails for $38.00)
- Tinted Moisturizer in the color 5C1 Caramel (retails for $45.00)
- Face Illuminator in the color Indiscretion (retails for $44.00)
Laura Mercier is my new go to for my summer “no makeup” look. To me, the most important item is your base. Laura Mercier’s primer is phanominal! Rather if I am wearing the tinted moisturizer or a traditional foundation, my makeup doesn’t move. I have combination skin so primer is vital for me to achieve a flawless look that last all day.
I love how the tinted moisturizer is lightweight. Also important, it feels and looks like skin. Although the product is lightweight, it’s buildable. Only complaint I have about the tinter moisturizer is that I hope they create more colors for brown skin.
The face illuminator comes in four beautiful shades. It’s very pigmented and a little goes a long way. Make sure you gradually build the glow you want. I loved the consistency of the product. However, I do not like how messy the product was in the pan. The entire product sometimes will fall out so be careful.
- Smooth Consistency
- A little bit goes a long way
- Makes foundation last all day
- Absorbs Fast
- Very Pigmented
- Wish there was more colors for brown girls
- Product doesn’t stay in the pan
I would definitely recommend the primer and tinted moisturizer. I love the color of the highlighter but I believe there is better product on the market.
