Transitioning to a vegan diet can be overwhelming in the beginning. Five years ago, if you would have told me I would be vegan this long I would’ve laugh in your face. When I decided to change to a vegan lifestyle, I chose to transition over the course of 4 months. I also know some people that were able to change their diet immediately. It’s all about what works for you. No matter what path you choose, here’s how to transition to a vegan diet in 5 easy steps. (more…)
Hey Loves! Here on LalaFoxx.com I mostly talk about Fashion and Style, but the truth is I haven’t felt the most confident in my clothes lately. Over the past few years, I’ve gained 30 pounds, mostly from working a job where I sit most of the day, eating late, and not making time to work out.
My workout journey has been pretty inconsistent. I’ll work out for two week consistently, and then fall off for a month or so. I mean posting it on my social media and all, just to fall off and gain weight. Embarrassing but I’m human and life happens. I’ve had a box sitting in the back of my closet for year full of clothes I no longer can fit. I won’t donate them because I have hopes that I will one day fit back into these clothes (insert crying emoji). Am I the only one?
To hold myself accountable and help others that are struggling with the same thing, I created Fit for Fashion! There will be a private Facebook Group to keep everyone connected, show their journey, share tips, live video’s, and overall just to support one another. I will post 30 day challenges to add to your fitness routine (squat, plank, crunch’s etc.). If you are not part of the Facebook group, you can search Fit for Fashion w/ Lala Foxx or click here. Below is a link to sign up for my Fitness Planner!
Happy Hump Day Foxx’s! The fam and I are trying to settle into our new place and I haven’t been able to get to bed at a decent time. Between trying to work out, drink my greens, working my 9 – 5, and blogging, I’ve been crawling in the bed at midnight! When you want change sometimes you have to make a sacrifice – in my case I’m sacrificing sleep.
This morning I didn’t want to get out the bed and felt so crabby. I mean everything was pissing me off, from me not getting out the door in time, to the traffic, to not finding a parking space. I quickly had to check my attitude as soon as I walked into work. When I sat at my desk I made me a checklist of 5 things that I’m grateful for and instantly had a boost! It’s all about perspective. What’s one thing your grateful for today? Let me know below <3

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I just got back from my trip to Chicago. Traveling solo, hanging with my girlfriend, eating good food, and seeing the sites was just what the doctor ordered. Although it was hard to leave my family, it always feels good to spending QT with myself. This isn’t only beneficial to me but to my family as well. Taking time out out for myself is how I show myself love. Practicing self love is so important because when I’m feeling good about me, I’m at my best for them. Here are 5 ways I practice self love and make sure I’m operating at a high frequency. (more…)
