Florida is finally getting cooler, but this Michigan native is NOT complaining. However, living in Florida, dressing for Fall can be tricky. One moment its cold and the next its hot. That’s why I love wearing layers! It’s perfect because like pictured here, in the mornings I can wear a turtle neck with a button down or jacket. But in the afternoon, I can wrap the button down around my waist to stay cool and it gives me a edgy look. (more…)
Transitioning to a vegan diet can be overwhelming in the beginning. Five years ago, if you would have told me I would be vegan this long I would’ve laugh in your face. When I decided to change to a vegan lifestyle, I chose to transition over the course of 4 months. I also know some people that were able to change their diet immediately. It’s all about what works for you. No matter what path you choose, here’s how to transition to a vegan diet in 5 easy steps. (more…)
This Fall I’ve been loving adding beautiful bold colors (especially jewel tones) to my wardrobe. This cute little clutch, platform pumps, and comfy pair of boyfriend jeans was a perfect contrast with my mustard color top. (more…)
I recently joined Influenster and my first VoxBox was to review the Eco Tools Brush Kits. If your unfamiliar with Influenster, it’s a community of over 4 million social savvy shoppers that test new products for companies and writes reviews (VoxBox). You can also use the website to compare products, and overall be in the know of the hottest products on the market.
Eco Tools is the first VoxBox I’ve received from Influenster. Honestly, I really didn’t know what to expect. I’ve seen women in the blogger community share Influenster on their social media but I never looked into it until recently. With the Holiday’s approaching, I thought why not test out products and give you guys my opinion, and gift ideas.
Okay, lets get into this Eco Tool Brush Kit review. I received the following items: (more…)
Happy Halloween! Can you believe tomorrow is November 1st?! Only 61 days left in 2017. Jacksonville is finally feeling like Fall with temps in the 50’s. NOW I’m getting all the Fall feels. I’ve been craving pumpkin spice and maple everything! With the family being super busy this past weekend, I had to stop at the pumpkin patch alone to grab a pumpkin for Kyleah to carve. I also grabbed one for myself to cook with. Recipe coming soon! Here’s an affordable fall outfit that’s comfortable and chic. (more…)
Sunday I had the opportunity to attended Crème of Nature’s Naturals Night Out here in Jacksonville! This was my first time attending this event and my friend Amerika B and I had a great time. Naturals Night Out was held at the Aloft boutique hotel in Tapestry Park. (more…)
Hey Loves! Here on LalaFoxx.com I mostly talk about Fashion and Style, but the truth is I haven’t felt the most confident in my clothes lately. Over the past few years, I’ve gained 30 pounds, mostly from working a job where I sit most of the day, eating late, and not making time to work out.
My workout journey has been pretty inconsistent. I’ll work out for two week consistently, and then fall off for a month or so. I mean posting it on my social media and all, just to fall off and gain weight. Embarrassing but I’m human and life happens. I’ve had a box sitting in the back of my closet for year full of clothes I no longer can fit. I won’t donate them because I have hopes that I will one day fit back into these clothes (insert crying emoji). Am I the only one?
To hold myself accountable and help others that are struggling with the same thing, I created Fit for Fashion! There will be a private Facebook Group to keep everyone connected, show their journey, share tips, live video’s, and overall just to support one another. I will post 30 day challenges to add to your fitness routine (squat, plank, crunch’s etc.). If you are not part of the Facebook group, you can search Fit for Fashion w/ Lala Foxx or click here. Below is a link to sign up for my Fitness Planner!
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. I know I did! Friday I hung out with my blogger boo’s. We took some pictures of course and grabbed food at M Shack (who has the BEST old bay fries EVER!). (more…)
I was invited out to Nordstrom Beauty Bash this weekend and had a chance to hang with my blogger boo’s Amerika from Amerika B Style Me and Trice from High Heels & Good Meals. The Anniversay sale is where Norstrom lets you shop new arrivals at a Super Sale Price. I had so much fun at the event! From a band and dance team opening the event, a FABULOUS Drag Queen by the name of Dee Ranged sashaying in a sexy gold sequin dress as our host, to free beauty products; waking up at 8:00am was definitely worth it! Happy Hump Day Foxx’s! The fam and I are trying to settle into our new place and I haven’t been able to get to bed at a decent time. Between trying to work out, drink my greens, working my 9 – 5, and blogging, I’ve been crawling in the bed at midnight! When you want change sometimes you have to make a sacrifice – in my case I’m sacrificing sleep.
This morning I didn’t want to get out the bed and felt so crabby. I mean everything was pissing me off, from me not getting out the door in time, to the traffic, to not finding a parking space. I quickly had to check my attitude as soon as I walked into work. When I sat at my desk I made me a checklist of 5 things that I’m grateful for and instantly had a boost! It’s all about perspective. What’s one thing your grateful for today? Let me know below <3
